Air pollution

Problem:

• There are no all-clearing data on the atmospheric pollution throughout the country, only the point data of ground dimensions are available that are not able to compose an objective picture of the distribution of pollutants in the atmosphere.

• There are no domestic satellite platforms that can monitor pollutants and greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

Solution:

Space monitoring service of pollutants and greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

How it works:

• Daily (up to several times a day) update of data on the concentration of major pollutants and greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.

• Visualization in cartographic form and generation of report documents for the territory specified by the user is provided.

• It is possible to set up regular notifications of exceedances of MPC or other abnormally high concentrations of pollutants.

• Integration with data on the location of production assets - objects of negative impact (Rosprirodnadzor's ONVOS database) is possible to clarify the sources of man-made emissions.

RS data needed:

Low resolution data with wide bandwidth, high data acquisition frequency (up to several times per day) and gas-sensitive spectral channels.
